A 37-year-old man was shot and killed in Springfield on Saturday evening, Springfield Police Department spokesman Ryan Walsh wrote in a tweet.
Authorities responded to the 0-100 block of Stebbins Street around 5 p.m., where they found the victim dead at the scene, he wrote.
The department’s homicide unit is currently investigating, Walsh wrote.
SPD responded to a report of a gunshot victim at approximately 5pm on the 0-100 block of Stebbins St. The 37 yr old male victim was pronounced dead on scene. SPD Homicide Unit investigating.
