Child killed in Hampton, N.H., fire identified as 7-year-old

New Hampshire officials Saturday identified the child who died in a three-alarm house fire earlier this week in Hampton as 7-year-old Nova Demanche.

Demanche died of thermal and inhalation injuries from the fire, and the manner of death was accidental, according to a statement from the state fire marshal’s office.

Seven other people escaped from the fire that started early Wednesday morning at 32 Thorwald Ave.
