A first-year performer on Babson’s swimming-and-diving team, she won the 200 freestyle and swam a leg on both victorious relays in a 192-91 dual meet win over Bridgewater State. The previous week, the Wellesley High grad factored into three of Babson’s four wins against Eastern Connecticut.
The Bishop Feehan grad is the third-leading scorer (10.8 ppg.) for Boston University women’s basketball (10-10). A North Attleborough product, the 5-foot-10-inch guard netted a career-high 23 points in a 49-45 win over Lafayette Jan. 26, and then had 22 against Bucknell.
Competing in the Maine State Men’s Indoor Championship in Gorham, the Bates sophomore swept both the weight throw (59 feet, 9.5 inches) and shot put (49-0.75). At the Southern Maine Invitational, the Phillips Andover grad led a 1-2-3-4 Bates sweep in the weight throw.
