Coffee chocolate-chip semifreddo

The dish is a great alternative to ice cream because it doesn’t require any special equipment.

Strawberry-rhubarb compote

Spoon this sweet-tart compote over your favorite vanilla ice cream and garnish with fresh mint leaves. A dash of gin adds interesting floral notes, but you can also use water or orange juice.

Cantaloupe granita

Granita is a coarse sorbet-like icy dessert that you make in a baking pan in the freezer, scraping the mixture several times an hour for several hours, until it forms crystals. Serve it in glass coupes to show off the color of the cantaloupe.
